FAQ

How many members live in the chapter house?

We generally have ~60 members living in the chapter house. Each member is guaranteed a double with some members receiving a single.

Do I need to purchase a meal plan through Husky Food Services?

No! We have our own personal chef that provides us hot lunch and dinner every weekday. We also have bagels, toast, cereal and fruit put out for breakfast. Our chef caters to ALL dietary restrictions, making special meals for those that need them.

How much does it cost to live in?

The first two quarters living in the house cost $3,200 per quarter. Starting with your third quarter in the house, dues are decreased to $3,000 per quarter. This is an all-inclusive expense that includes food, housing, social activities, etc. The initial extra $200 per quarter is a result of national new member fees. This is significantly cheaper than the dorms – a double in McCarty Hall costs $3,511/quarter, with a mandatory minimum meal plan starting at $991 per quarter. In total, it costs $4,502 per quarter to live in the dorms - $1,500 more per quarter than our house!

Is there parking available?

Yes! We are lucky enough to have a large parking lot that all of our members may take advantage of for no additional cost.

How is the academic standing of your house?

We take academics seriously at Phi Delts - quarterly grade reports can be found on the IFC website linked HERE. Around 50% of our members are studying engineering, 35% business, 15% pre-med, and 10% liberal arts.
